How it works

  1. Detects a failed subscription payment via the payment gateway's webhook and sends an immediate notice with a direct card-update link.
  2. Retries the charge automatically per the platform's dunning schedule after the card is updated.
  3. If unresolved after 2 attempts, escalates with a personal message before the subscription lapses, per the dunning schedule's escalation step.
  4. Confirms successful payment and continued subscription, written to the subscription record.
