You decide what matters

Like Lego: pick what you need from the whole platform and put it where you like. You decide what matters, and that is the first thing you see when you sign in.

A home page is a bet about what the person opening it wants to see first. For a platform that runs voice agents for a dealership, WhatsApp for a clinic and a web widget for a shop, no single bet wins. The person who checks missed calls at eight in the morning and the person who checks campaign replies at five want different first screens, and until now they got the same one. Boards is the end of that. The first screen is a canvas, and the person who has to look at it decides what is on it.

Why the Home Page Had to Go

The platform grew. The home page did not.

Mihu AI now has agents, channels, queues, tickets, appointments, campaigns, knowledge, evaluations, reports and billing, each with its own page and its own numbers. The old home page showed a fixed handful of them. Everyone learned to click past it. A screen everyone clicks past is a screen nobody has, and it was costing the most useful minute of the day: the one where you find out whether anything needs you before you go looking.

The Drawer: Nearly Two Hundred Live Widgets

Every component of the platform, in one categorised list, live the moment you drop it.

Press Customize and a drawer opens on the right. Inside it, every widget the platform can render, grouped into seventeen categories, with a search box. Drag one onto the canvas and it is live: not a placeholder, the actual number, the actual list, the actual chart.

Kind of widgetExamples
NumbersConversations, Handled by AI, Resolved by AI, Satisfied customers, Handed to your team, Calls, Missed calls, Call minutes, Appointments, Open tickets, New contacts, Usage cost, Balance
ChartsConversations per day by channel, Calls per day, Why customers contact you, Busiest hours, Satisfaction trend
ListsRecent conversations, your agents, knowledge sources, open tickets, today’s appointments, running campaigns
Action cardsMake a call, Send WhatsApp message, Send SMS, Send email, Connect WhatsApp, Connect Instagram, Connect a CRM, Connect Google apps, Agent maker, Go to call center
SetupWorkspace setup checklist, Welcome card
Report widgetsAny widget you built in Custom Reports, live and filtered the way you saved it

The categories follow the platform: Overview, AI agents, Contacts, Outreach & campaigns, Conversations, Calls, Appointments, Tickets, Knowledge & models, Channels & apps, Automation & developer, Quality, Team, Billing, My reports, Report widgets, Workspace. What you see in the drawer is limited to what your role can see elsewhere: a queue member does not get the billing tiles, and does not see a gap where they would be.

An action card is not a link to a page. Make a call opens the dialer on the board. Connect WhatsApp opens the connection wizard on the board. Agent maker opens the quick builder that creates an agent, gets it a number and binds the two in one pass. The home page stops being a place you leave to do things.

Drag from the drawer, drop on the canvas, and it is live. Widgets stay exactly where you leave them.

One small decision that turned out to matter: widgets stay where you put them. Remove one and it leaves a gap; nothing slides up to fill it. A layout you arranged on Monday looks the same on Friday, which is the whole point of arranging it.

Seventy-Two Ready-Made Views

A starting point for your sector and your role, before you drag anything.

Nobody should have to build a home page from an empty canvas. The view picker offers seventy-two ready-made views: eight sectors, and within each one a General view plus views for roles — manager, operations, growth, builder, quality, team, cost — and for common use cases. A dealership's operations view opens on missed calls, service bookings and the workshop's busiest hours. A clinic's manager view opens on appointments kept, satisfaction and the team's load.

The first time you open Boards, one is chosen for you. If the workspace has no AI agent yet, it is Getting started, built around the setup checklist. Otherwise it is the General view for your sector, detected from what you told us about your business when you set up the workspace. Change it whenever you like; apply a view to a board and every widget in it is live within seconds.

Your Custom Boards, and a Default

One board you cannot break. As many as you like that you can.

Every member has a built-in board called Default. It is always in the switcher, it always renders the right ready-made view for the workspace, and it cannot be broken: the moment you edit it, your changes go into a new board named after the view, and Default stays as it was. Reset all always lands on Default, never on an empty screen.

  1. Boards are named. Morning check, Month end, Campaign week. Switch between them from the header, rename them, delete the ones you stop using.
  2. Boards are personal. Your boards are yours. A colleague with the same role starts from the same Default and ends up somewhere completely different, and neither of you can see the other's.
  3. Edit mode is explicit. Dragging and resizing only happen after you press Customize. Outside edit mode the board is a page, not a puzzle.

The Setup Checklist and Agent Maker

Seven steps, and a button that does the first three at once.

A new workspace's Getting started view is built around the Workspace setup checklist: an agent, a number, the two bound together, knowledge, channels, a first outreach, and your team. Each step opens the right wizard from the board. The first three are one button: Agent maker creates the agent, gets it a number and binds them in a single pass, so the first step in Boards is a working phone agent.

Until the checklist is complete, a one-line version of it sits at the top of every other view, so a member who chose a different starting point still sees what is left. Once you are through it, or once you dismiss it, it is gone.

Empty States That Tell You What to Do

A zero is an instruction, not a shrug.

A dashboard in a young workspace is mostly zeros, and zeros are discouraging. So every widget that can be empty says why, and what to do about it. A calls tile in a workspace with no phone number does not show 0; it says there is no number yet and offers to get one. A knowledge list with no sources offers to add the first. A tickets tile before any conversation has ended explains that tickets are opened from conversations. Each of those offers is a button that opens the right place from the board.

Try this: press Customize, remove everything you have never clicked on, and add one report widget you actually check. Give the board a name. That is your home page now, and the platform will keep it that way.

Your Own Reports, on Your Own Page

The widget you built in Custom Reports belongs on the first screen.

The drawer's Report widgets category lists every widget you made in Custom Reports, filtered the way you saved it. Drop one onto a board and it renders there like any built-in tile, computed in the background and refreshed on the same schedule. The satisfaction number for the two agents you changed last week, the one only you asked for, can be the first thing you see when you sign in.

The navigation on the left is yours to arrange too.

Press Arrange menu and drag the items into the order you like. Hide the ones you never use. Only your menu changes; your colleagues keep theirs. Every board you save also shows up in the menu as a shortcut, so your morning board is one click away from anywhere. Changed your mind? Reset brings back the original order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are boards shared with my team or personal?

Personal. Every team member has their own boards, and the widgets they can add are limited to what their role can already see elsewhere in the platform. A workspace admin’s board and a queue member’s board can look completely different.

What is in the widget drawer?

Nearly two hundred widgets across seventeen categories: Overview, AI agents, Contacts, Outreach and campaigns, Conversations, Calls, Appointments, Tickets, Knowledge and models, Channels and apps, Automation and developer, Quality, Team, Billing, My reports, Report widgets and Workspace. Live numbers, charts, lists, action cards, the setup checklist, and any report widget you built in Custom Reports.

What happens the first time I open Boards?

You see a ready-made view chosen for you. If the workspace has no AI agent yet it is the Getting started view, built around the setup checklist. Otherwise it is the General view for your workspace’s sector, detected from what you told us about your business. You can switch to any of the seventy-two views or start from an empty canvas.

Can I break the Default board?

No. Default is built in. The moment you edit it, your changes are saved to a new named board and Default stays as it was. Reset all always lands you back on Default, never on an empty screen.

Can I have more than one board?

Yes. Boards are named, you switch between them from the header, and you can rename or delete them. Many people keep one for the morning check and one for the end-of-month review.

Do widgets move around on their own?

No. Widgets stay exactly where you put them. Removing one leaves a gap rather than pulling everything else upward, so a layout you arranged on Monday still looks the same on Friday.

What does a widget show when there is no data yet?

What to do about it. A calls tile in a workspace with no phone number says so and offers to get one; a knowledge list with no sources offers to add the first. Every empty state has an action, and most of them open the right wizard directly from the board.

Can I put a custom report on my board?

Yes. Any report widget you built in Custom Reports appears in the drawer under Report widgets and drops onto the canvas like any other tile, live and filtered the way you saved it.

Build your first screen

Sign in, press Customize, and pick the view for your sector. Ten minutes of dragging gets you a home page that shows what you check every morning and nothing else. Boards is on every plan.
