Why a Desktop App

A contact center is not a website you visit. It is where your team works all day.

Mihu Loop is the contact center where your team and your AI agents answer the same calls, chats and emails together. People keep it open from the first coffee to the last call. In a browser, that means it lives in a tab: one tab among thirty, easy to close by accident, silent when it is behind another window, and sharing the microphone with whatever else the browser is doing.

Your team told us they wanted Mihu Loop to behave like the other tools they live in all day, the way a chat app or an email app does. So we gave it its own app. It is the same Mihu Loop, with the same inbox, calls, tickets and settings. Nothing to learn again. It just stops competing with the rest of the browser.

Calls That Just Work

Your microphone and camera, asked for once.

Voice and video calls are part of a contact center, not an extra. The app asks for your microphone and camera the first time a call needs them, and remembers your answer. No site-by-site permissions to hunt for, no call dropping because a browser tab went to sleep in the background.

Sign In Once, Stay Signed In Safely

Easy for your team, careful with your account.

Sign in with your e-mail and password, with the code we send you if you use two-step verification, or with Google or LinkedIn. After that, the app keeps you signed in. The key that keeps you signed in is stored encrypted in your computer's own secure storage, such as the macOS Keychain, and never in plain text.

1. It only opens Mihu Loop. Links to anywhere else open in your normal browser, so the app stays a place for work.
2. It asks before it uses anything. The microphone and camera need your permission; screen sharing and devices such as USB are switched off.
3. Signing out cleans up. When you sign out, the app removes everything it stored for your session on that computer.
4. It picks up where you left off. If your session runs out, the app signs you back in and takes you back to the page you were on.

Always Up to Date

New versions arrive without anyone chasing them.

The app checks for new versions on its own. When one is ready, a small message in the top bar offers to update, and the app installs it and restarts. If an update is important for everyone, the app asks your team to install it before carrying on, so no one is left on an old version. The app itself speaks your language too: its sign-in screen and menus come in the same 16 languages as Mihu.

The very first time you open it on a Mac, macOS may ask you to confirm that you want to open an app downloaded from the internet. The download page walks you through it in two steps.

Try this: install the app, sign in, and close the window. Ask a colleague to send a test message to your queue and watch the notification and the unread count appear, without Mihu Loop being in front of you.
