How it works

  1. Agent gathers symptoms/urgency and applies the practice's non-clinical triage script — routing red flags to urgent care/ER guidance per pre-set rules, never deciding severity itself.
  2. Checks live cancellations, double-booking slots or overflow capacity via the schedule API.
  3. Confirms the slot, or escalates to the on-call nurse line if none available.
  4. Sends check-in instructions given the compressed timeline.
