How it works

  1. Agent tracks each backordered part's updated ETA from the supplier/inventory system.
  2. A proactive update is sent whenever the ETA changes, without waiting to be asked.
  3. Once the part arrives, triggers the special-order arrival notification to coordinate installation.
  4. Backorders significantly exceeding the original estimate are offered a no-penalty cancellation or an alternative part.
